Band Camp Part 1
This week I am teaching brass sectionals with a couple of marching bands. One is a new band fro me, and after two sessions with these kids, it seems there is some stark improvement. I like the kids, and they are taking to my teachings pretty well. They are doing lip slure very well with this exacting approach I take with them, and I am certain it will pay off for them.
So I am doing mornings with a new band and afternoons with an old band. It was not a great rehearsal this afternoon. They do some things really well, but were not into rehearsing today and it was like pulling teeth to get them to actually improve. It has to be better tomorrow, or heads will roll.
