ML King and Things

Well, it is here again. The ML King Holiday is the time the Youth Brass Band has an all day clinic/ rehearsal. We will do sectionals in the morning and full band all afternoon. We REALLY need the time together to make some headway on this music. We are three short weeks away from our first concert and we are three long months away in our preparation. I know we will get there, but I feel stressed anyways. The music is rather difficult, as usual. With only one rehearsal per week, its tough to get a lot of detail work accomplished in a rehearsal. My job is to try to keep my frustration level down to a minimum for the day. Which will be tough.

I am glad the Steelers are in the Super Bowl. I wanted to see the Eagles make it as well, but it was not to be. I really wanted McNabb to be able to shove it in the Philadelphia fan base’s face that he is the MAN. I really think the Cards will get creamed by the Steelers. But two weeks from now? who knows!!!
