Winter Solstice

Posted on

Yesterday was the longest day of the year for me, or at least one of them.  Three service days are not a regular thing for me, but sometimes come up.  It started off very early with a morning at 1st Presby in downtown Raleigh, then straight from that to Nutcracker shows with the NC Symphony.  I was gone all day, and was very tired by the end of it.  I was home in time to watch the Giants/Panthers game which was very good, and very long, which kept me up later.  A buddy came over and watched the game and gave me the run down from Midwest.  I should go back there soon.  I am teaching lessons today and tomorrow, then I get some time off.  I am staying here in NC and going to tie up a lot of loose ends and get things ready for the new year.  There is simply too much going on to be ready for during the normal hussle, so I need to take some of the time off to take care of things and be prepared.

All in all, it has been a very good month.  December usually is very busy, and very productive.  Everything is in the now during December, which is OK.  I need some time now to work on the future.
