Busy Times
There is a lot on the plate this time of the year. Over the weekend I was in New Bern with the NC Symphony, the Triangle Brass Band had a rehearsal, and college football ended. Juries at NCCU were last Friday and my grade are all turned in for that. This week started with youth band rehearsals on Monday, lessons here and there, and a road trip with the symphony to Lincolnton. Upon arrival to the homestead Wednesday from the other part of the state, I zipped right out the door to N. Raleigh for a Triangle Brass Band concert at a church function for one of our members. It was a very nice affair. They really enjoyed our music, and the band played very well. They had dinner for us before we played and many band members where there to eat together. it was a really nice event, and I am really happy it went the way it did. Another event succesful for the TBB.
The next two weekends are about as busy as they get for me. This weekend is Holiday concert with NC Master Chorale, which I like playing because they are sooo good. Sunday is Brassmas and the TBB Holiday Concert at Meymandi. I am hoping that goes well as well.
