Sunday recap
So the big event of the week is over. The Triangle Brass band performance at Brass at bond was yesterday at 5 PM. It was hot out, but it went really well. The band sounded ok, and I only made one big error. I am going to be pissed about it the rest of my life. I blew a measure in Slaughter on 10th Avenue. While there are things I would like to get back, over all, I am very happy about it, most especially is all the hard work from the members who helped make the performance work in the set up/break down process. We now begin our music for our October 26th concert with the Cedar Ridge HS Wind Symphony.
I love it when the CATS and the SKINS both win on the same weekend.
I will start in heavy recruiting for the TYBB this week by visiting some schools and drumming up some interest in auditioning for the group.
