Week 4
I am at a hotel in Lincolnton, NC, preparing to teach week four of marching band camps. Week 1 was working with Sanderson helping their brass and Martin develop a brass fundamentals program. Week 2 and 3 I was working Garners brass. The cool thing is I am really only involved in teaching brass. It is nice to step back and just work on fundamentals and music with just the brass lines. This week will be North Lincoln, and Neil Underwood. I have not taught out this way in a long time. But always enjoyed working Neil’s band. I expect a good week with a good size brass line.
